The was the first time I had taken on anything like this, and so I was happy enough with the result.
I’ll give myself a 6/10 for the work. I got the job done and it works. But the patio slabs don’t exactly match and it’s slightly uneven compared to the existing patio.
Lessions learned:
- Use piece of wood and string to line up the level the patio should be layed.
- Get a bigger bucket for mixing/creating cement.
- Foundations are key. It needs to be exactly level with your expected result and you should not rush this stage.
